| Description | Bugzilla 2.16.6 was released on 2004-07-10 as the latest, and probably last, security patch release in the stable 2.16.x series. The latest P4DTI release (2.1.2) supports various Bugzilla releases including 2.16.4; the next P4DTI release should support Bugzilla 2.16.5 and 2.16.6. |
| Analysis | The differences between 2.16.5 and 2.16.6 do not apparently affect the P4DTI. The Bugzilla 2.16.5 patch can be applied cleanly to 2.16.6, and the result passes our automated and manual testing. So this is just a case of adding 2.16.6 to the sources, patching it, and updating the documentation. We should deprecate 2.16.4 and 2.16.5 because of the security issues. |
