Title | AG says that MySQL doc link is for MySQL 4.1.0-alpha |

Description | The Administrator's Guide has a link (in section 3.3) to the MySQL documentation. This link is to the permanent home of the current MySQL documentation, but in the AG the linked text is "MySQL Reference Manual for version 4.1.0-alpha". This will date. |
Analysis | This text should be changed to something like "current MySQL Reference Manual". This is Perforce job job011361. Interestingly, the AAG has a link to http://www.mysql.com/doc/B/a/Backup.html which redirects to: http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/Backup.html which is the right section to link to and has the appearance of a link that might work across different versions. [drj 200-08-07] Also, I note that the link is to www.mysql.com/documentation/mysql which redirects to www.mysql.com/documentation. Should we change the link? [drj 2003-08-07] |
