Title | We don't use system logging facilities on Windows |
Status | closed |
Priority | essential |

Description | On Windows, we don't use the Windows Event Log; instead we log to a file. We should use the Event Log. Managing applications which don't is irritating. Note that we now (since changelist 7375, first released in version 1.0) use the syslog on Linux and Unix systems. |
Analysis | I can't think of anything useful to add here. |
