Title | Can't submit changelist with fix in P4Win 2000.2 |
Status | closed |
Priority | critical |
Assigned user | Richard Brooksby |
Organization | Perforce |
Description | If you make a numbered pending changelist, add a fix, and submit, then P4Win gives you the message "Error in change specification. Wrong number of words for field 'Jobs'." It refuses to submit. |
Analysis | This happened with server P4D/NTX86/2000.2beta/18911 and both P4Win 2000.1 17732 and P4Win 2000.2beta 18934. If the job is unfixed (either by selecting "Unfix job" or by unchecking the box by the job in the submit form) the submission goes through successfully. Submission of a numbered pending changelist with attached fix works fine from the command line. I haven't checked it with the plug-in. This is fixed in P4D/NTX86/2000.2beta/18974; the replicator should check for this changelevel. GDR 2000-12-06. |
