ADMIN GUIDE...

My top-level question is: shouldn't most of this be handled by a proper
installer? (it could include python)

Admin Guide does not mention that you need to install python
(should give version info etc)

Also (lesser) p4dti should be installed as an NT service (if you're on
NT
that is). Reverse engineer how from apache source.

Admin Guide, section 5.1:
Python variables are <h5> which is damn near invisible.

The variables should be documented in the order in which they appear in
config.py.
Actually the ordering in thr a/g is somewhat unusual, eg p4_user several
entries
after p4_passwd

Is the log_file name abosolute or relative (wrt what)? It's absolute in
the a/g
but relative in config.py

How about the distribution containing two copies of config.py, eg
config.py and
config.py.original - OK I know local administrators ought to be careful,
but it
wouldn't hurt to help them along

Minor typo:
(Note that "localhost" won't work, even if the TeamTrack eerver is on
the local host.)

Appendices A & B look awful - suggest giving the columns widths? it's
safe enough
to assume >=1024 screen width these days (and you can always cite that
as a system
requirement for reading the doc "comfortably")

I started "run.py" by typing that filename into an NT cmd window (in the

appropriate directory). Issue #1 is that this worked. Issue #2 is that
when we
later tried "python run.py" we found that python is not on my path.
Issue #3 is
that I was able to misread the doc (a/g 5.5) "Run the command python
run.py." as
"Run the python command run.py." - perhaps the <code> part should be on
a fresh line?

RUNNING WITH TEAMTRACK...

in Jobs view, the job is owned by the replicator - in fig 1 of the u/g
they're all
owned by people. are both of these correct? [resolution turns out to be
connected
with me using the same email address for both self and replicator. rb
fixed that for
sendmail by using ndl+replicator@... - might as well doc that]

USER GUIDE

6.2 line 1: "Select the Pending Perforce Changelists pane by choosing
Changelist > View Pending Changelists. "
this would read less unpleasantly as:
"Select Changelist > View Pending Changelists -- this will take you to
the Pending Perforce Changelists pane."
And so on - there are several of these.

line 7: Click OK to create the changelist. -> "click Update" [there is
no OK]
