Title | Can't set the rank on an AMC/AMCZ allocation point |
Status | open |
Priority | nice |

Organization | Ravenbrook |
Description | AMC and AMCZ ignore the rank on an allocation point. This means that if you want to allocate some leaf objects in an AMC pool then you can't get any benefit from the fact that they are leaf objects. You have to create a separate AMCZ pool and allocate them there. |
Analysis | AMC and AMCZ override the rankset that you pass to mps_ap_create_k. But there is no design reason for this—it's a legacy from before we had keyword arguments and so we couldn't add this feature. |
