Title | The MPS issues list looks scary |
Status | open |
Priority | critical |

Description | When outsiders browse the MPS issues list [1] they sometimes comment that the software must be in a bad state. But in fact, the MPS is extremely stable, and none of the issues are disturbing our commercial clients. |
Analysis | All current issues are in fact at "optional" priority by our own definition, since none of them is affecting a customer. We should do a mass downgrade, and perhaps alter the presentation of the list to make this clear. Few will know our "critical", "essential", "optional", "nice" scheme. Suggestion by JPH: Above "MPS Issues" in the output, insert a section called "MPS Bugs" which contains all the production bugs we know (i.e. none at all). RB 2022-12-09 |
